A Taste of Thai: Peanut Noodles

These noodles are not necessarily what you would call health food, but they are incredibly delicious. I like to have them on hand when I'm running out the door and don't have time to pack a lunch. They are ready to eat in about 5-6 minutes, and are quite tasty with some veggies added in.

I have found them at select Wal-Mart's, Target's, and Woodman's grocery stores. We also have them available in our store, or you can use the links on the right.

I would highly recommend giving these a try, as well the Coconut Ginger Noodles.

Trader Joe's Brown Rice Pasta

We've tried many pasta's but this is one of our favorites, especially for Aglio.

It cooks best with a little bit of olive oil in the water. The water does get murky as its cooking, and it can get a film on it if you let the water stand. But don't let this deter you. But if strained and rinsed after cooking, it is quite tasty.

*Note: For best results, serve this pasta warm, once cooked and refrigerated it gets a very grainy texture. Be sure to nuke it in the microwave before eating.
